From the Girls We Served

In June 2024, the Embrace Her Team raised 20 million Vietnam Dong, approximately $800, to support underprivileged girls undergoing heart surgeries at Kon Tum Hospital in the northern part of Vietnam.
Ā
One of the girls we helped was Yen Phung. Despite the uncertainty of the surgery's outcome, she was determined to regain her heart's health.
Ā
In her letter to our team, she wrote:
English translation: "I want to thank Khue Anh (Angela) and everyone for supporting my friends and me through this journey. I will do my best to follow the treatment so I can return to my family. I will also work hard on my studies to not let you guys down.
Ā
Hanoi, June 25, 2024
I love you all so much."Ā
In 2025, Embrace Her's Korean Chapter President, Claire Kim, distributed Rael skincare and hygiene products to girls at Hye-Sim Won Orphanage in South Korea.
ā
Hye-Sim Won Orphanage supports underprivileged children and adolescents who often have limited access to personal care and hygiene products. Through our partnership with Rael, we were able to provide the girls with essential self-care items.Ā
ā
One of the girls said:
English translation: "This is the first time I have ever received skincare products. Thank you for thinking of us and giving us these gifts. I will use them well and remember you guys"
ā
One of our partners in this initiative was Central Berkshire Habitat for Humanity, which helped distribute the donated clothing to families in need throughout the community.
Ā
In a message to our team, theĀ Head of Central Berkshire Habitat for Humanity shared:Ā
ā
"We are incredibly grateful for the generosity shown through The Dreams Project. These clothing donations will help support local girls and families and serve as a reminder that their community cares about them. Thank you to the Embrace Her team, Berkshire School, and the Community Service Team for their contributions and for making this project possible."Ā
